Pull Up A Chair

Make yourself at home. If you've been here before then you know what to expect. If you haven't, then there are some things you should probably know. This website is essentially a sanctuary for the comic works of James Squires, a bloke from the middle-most island of New Zealand. Locals call it the 'South' Island, mysteriously.

The website, enigmatically named 'Fishing For Orphans,' has surprisingly little to do with either fishing or orphans. It is about comics. Comics on this website will be seperated into four distinct sections:

1. Fishing for Orphans
2. Child on a Stool

I will not attempt to explain what either of these comics are 'about'... hopefully when you read them, you will understand. If you don't, I'll cut you.

3. Uni Diary Comics, made for the Universtiy of Canterbury Student Diary, distributed on campus in 2005 and 2006.
4. Miscellaneous, which is just everything that I don't really want to put anywhere else.

Anyway, peruse the archives. If you like something, let me know. If you don't, let me know. If you're ambivalent, go away. I hate fence-sitters. Pick a side and stick with it.
